Danfish International 2011 in Aalborg, Denmark, was a resounding success, not just for the people behind the show but also for Carnitech as a company. With more than 13,000 visitors, the 22nd incarnation of Danfish International was the most visited of its kind.

Bright future after reorganization
It is now more than a year since Carnitech was acquired by the American company AIAC after having been owned by Icelandic Marel for several years. 2010 was a tough but good year. After negative results in both 2008 and 2009, Carnitech has in 2010 succeeded in turning this into a positive result.
Triton – new distributor of Carnitech seafood processing equipment in India
In May 2011, Carnitech entered an agreement with Indian based company, Triton Refrigeration. The company was established in the year 2006 by two qualified and experienced technocrats Ravi Gautham & Prasanna Kumar with a wide range of experience in seafood processing and industrial refrigeration systems both in India and Overseas. Triton will be distributing Carnitech’s processing equipment for particularly warmwater shrimp.
New distributor in Brazil
Carnitech’s representative in Brazil will be the newly established company Fimach situated in Sao Paulo. The company will offer both sales, service, and import of machines and spare parts.
Impressive number of leads at SPE 2011, Brussels
The world’s largest exhibition in seafood processing equipment, Seafood Processing Europe in Brussels, turned out to be a huge success for Carnitech who returned with an impressive number of leads.
